MANILA, Philippines – Pinoy Big Brother is back amidst the pandemic with the much-awaited “PBB Kumunity Season 10.”
The big announcement was revealed on “It’s Showtime” on Friday, August 27 as they introduced the new season, which will have adult, celebrity, and teen editions.
“Binigyan ako ng task ni Big Brother para sabihin sa lahat na magbubukas na ulit ang bahay ni Kuya para sa Season 10 ng ‘Pinoy Big Brother.’ Naka-10 seasons na pala tayo,” Teen Big Winner Kim Chiu said.
Former housemate Ryan Bang added, “Sabi nga sa labas ng bahay niya…a new community will rise soon.”
Ryan was referring to the “PBB” house covered in blue construction cover with the message, “a new community will rise soon.” The photo of the house made rounds on social media, confusing netizens on the fate of “PBB” and if it meant Big Brother’s farewell.
It was then followed by a huge poster of the number 10 beside the “PBB” gate that sent social media abuzz too. It also caught the attention of former housemates, including Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Lou Yanong, Maris Racal, Maymay Entrata, Ryan Bang, Sam Milby, and Seth Fedelin.
PBB partners with Kumu
Just like “PBB Connect,” the newest edition will also play a huge part on Kumu.
Auditions for the upcoming season will be done via the Pinoy streaming platform.
3 PBB Kumunities
The yellow house will re-open this year with the celebrities as first Kumunity housemates.
The second and third Kumunities are the adults and teens with the audition schedules set in September and December 2021, respectively.
Here’s how to audition for Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Kumunity Season 10:
Adult Edition – Kumu Auditions on September 1 – 30, 2021
1. Qualified housemates are those 20 to 40 years old.
2. Download Kumu app on your mobile phone. Create account.
3. Tap Carlito on Kumu app and create a video about yourself. Clip must be up to 1 minute.
“Ipakilala ang iyong sarili at sabihin kung bakit ka karapat-dapat maging housemate. Ano ang maitutulong mo sa PBB Kumunity kung ikaw ang magiging housemate ni Kuya?”
4. Include your name, age and address on your video. Post video on Kumu app using official hashtag #PBBKumuAdults.
Teen Edition – Kumu Auditions on December 1 – 31, 2021
1. Qualified housemates are those 15 to 19 years old.
2. Download Kumu app on your mobile phone. Create account.
3. Tap Carlito on Kumu app and create a video about yourself. Clip must be up to 1 minute.
4. Include your name, age and address on your video. Post video on Kumu app (Official hashtag will be announced).
