Earlier, at a UniTeam rally in Cebu, Toni said that presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. will be back “home” to Malacañang.

The statement didn’t sit well with Mocha, who is currently campaigning for rival Manila Mayor Isko Moreno. She commented how Toni’s statement shows that the actress lacks knowledge of public service.

In a TikTok video on her official account, Mocha shared a clip with the caption, “Ang Malacañang ay opisina hindi tahanan.”

She compared President Rodrigo Duterte’s statement where he said Malacañang is just his office and not his home. She stressed that Malacañang belongs to the Filipino people.

Mocha addressed Toni saying, “Alam mo, ma’am, hindi maganda ‘yang sinasabi ninyo.

The party-list nominee even threw shade at the dictatorship of former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. Mocha said that Toni’s statement only shows how the Marcos family is really claiming that the Malacañang belongs to them.

In the end, Mocha gave a reminder that the Malacañang is merely an office of public servants and not to be claimed by any family. She even advised Toni to learn from the words of Duterte.

Marcos Sr. became president of the Philippines for more than two decades. He and his family were the longest residents of the Malacañang from December 1965 to February 1986.
