MANILA, Philippines – TV Patrol, the flagship newscast of ABS-CBN, is allegedly set to lose two of its mainstays as reports said that Kim Atienza and Noli De Castro are going to leave the show.
Netizens are abuzz after rumors started circulating that ABS-CBN’s resident weather anchor and trivia master Kuya Kim will soon move to the rival network.

According to reports, Kuya Kim was offered 5 shows by GMA Network so he could make the switch. If confirmed, it would mean that the report has chosen to break his earlier statement that he will remain with ABS-CBN despite the network losing its franchise.
Last year, Kuya Kim affirmed his loyalty with ABS-CBN to Philippine Star entertainment editor Ricky Lo. He said, “The ABS-CBN ship is still afloat and is very much alive. I shall stay a Kapamilya till its last breath.”
The former It’s Showtime host remains mum on the issue.
Meanwhile, De Castro is also allegedly going to bid goodbye to the Kapamilya news show as he gets back to politics. Reports are also circulating that the former Vice President will join the senate race in the upcoming 2022 election.
According to reports, De Castro is set to join the political camp of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno. Report also said that ABS-CBN did not give its “blessing” for De Castro to run for senator.
