MANILA, Philippines – The September 2021 Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) and Registered Master Electricians (RME) board exam results to include the list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools are expected to be released online on September 10-13, 2021 or in 3-4 working days after the exam.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Electrical Engineering administered the licensure exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on September 5 and 6 (REE) and September 7 (RME).

REGISTRATION OF PASSERS
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
As advised, successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date of the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examinations WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
Electrical Engineering board exam verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online. Visit PRC’s “Verification of Rating” service and enter the required information to verify your identity. Note that this can be available in few days after the exam.
COVERAGE OF EXAM AND PASSING RATE
REE board exam covered the following subjects: mathematics, engineering sciences and allied subjects (Day 1) and electrical engineering professional subjects (Day 2). For RME exams, it covered technical subjects ( i.e. basic electricity, test equipment and electrical measurements) and Philippine Electrical Code.
The passing general weighted average rating is seventy percent (70%) with no grade below fifty percent (50%) in any subject.
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1283 s. 2020, the target release of results for the recent Electrical Engineer board exam is on Friday, September 10 or in three (3) working days after the series of exams.
However, results may be released on later date without prior notice. Note that the target release date is based on original schedule of REE and RME (September 4,5 and 6).
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the last REE and RME board exams before the pandemic, PRC announced results in four (4) working days. A total of 3,285 out of 4,891 Registered Electrical Engineers and 2,634 out of 4,424 Registered Master Electricians successfully passed the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations.
In the September 2018 exams, results were released in three (3) working days after the last day of exams. PRC named 3,135 out of 4,697 Registered Electrical Engineers and 2,649 out of 4,251 Registered Master Electricians who successfully passed the exams.
In the September 2017 exam, results were also out in 3 working days. A total of 2,807 out of 4,460 REEs and 2,643 out of 3,864 RMEs successfully passed the exams.
